How many years have you been innkeepers?
Randy and Sara, who own multiple lodging properties in three states (Stewart Inn, Hotel Galena, Owl Ridge Cabin, Inn of Saugatuck and Aldrich Guest House), have been innkeepers since 2013. What do you like best about the Galena community?
Our favorite part of Galena is that it has retained its historic charm, geographic beauty, and welcoming spirit despite its position as the #2 tourist destination in Illinois. So many communities lose their soul as they become popular with guests. Galena has not!
What is your favorite event in Galena or your favorite way to participate and give back?
Galena has so many fun events and wonderful things to do that it’s hard to choose. Whether it’s Luminaria, Grant’s Home Front Reenactment, Galena Whiskey Weekend, Pride Picnic, Great Galena Balloon Race, Market House Square Art Festival, Galena Oktoberfest, or Galena Halloween Parade, there is so much to do and see in Galena and so many wonderful people to meet.
